FAQ

Fall Weekends

FallColor2013Does every Cub Scout have to have a parent to attend?

If you are registering as an adult, you must have an adult and attend with the Cub Scout. If you are registering as a Den or Pack, you need a minimum of 2 adults per group of up to 10 Cub Scouts. For every portion of 5 Cub Scouts (1-5) after that, you need to add another adult. (ie 11 cubs – 3 adults, 16 cubs – 4 adults)

Can other family members attend these activities?

All family members, all ages, all genders can attend the Fall Color Hikes and Haunted Weekends. Only Webelos can attend the Webelos BB Gun & Archery Days and only Tiger Cubs can attend the Tiger Cub Adventure Days.

Can we bring our pets?

No pets are allowed at camp.

Do I need a Tour Permit?

All Autumn Adventure weekends require preregistration and since it is a Council activity with pre-registration, you do not need a tour permit.

Do I need a Health Form?

If you attended a summer session at Nicol in 2013 and turned in a Health Form then, you do not need another form for the autumn weekends. All individuals who have not turned in a Health Form for 2013 must do so when they check in for their first weekend activity.

What time do I need to be there to check in?

Unless otherwise specified for the activity, plan to arrive 1/2 to 1 hour prior to the program start time. In most cases you can check in late but you will miss portions of the program of the program if you do that. With the exception of Webelos BB Gun & Archery Days, you can arrive any time. All programs on the other weekends are open at all program times and you can visit each program at your leisure.
